A promising and important meeting, although I am not confident that the core premise in The Inconstestable Truth or what is being done here and/or who is aligning around C&C in New Zealand will be equitably represented. GREENS have adopted C&C according to Russel Norman (private conversation) but advocacy is key to fostering the necessary public dialog. Even Phil Gurnsey has said MfE is C&C (despite failing to do anything to faciliate or promote that dialog, including avoiding any mention of it in consulation documents) For anyone that has seen Incontestable Truth they would likely be very surprised and, if they have been following the policy development process thus far, likely flumoxed by the absence of public discussion surrounding this 'beyond kyoto' international framework, especially one that has reached the maturity of C&C.

To that end I would be happy to contribute and speak to the initiative if invited to participate.
