How to use this site

This site is designed to make things easier to find, without having to drill down through lots of pages.

Everything you need is on the one page – the page changes according to what you are looking for.

Give it a try. Type something in the search field under the banner, click search, and you will notice the page refreshes to show articles containing what you searched for. If you want more than the first eight articles, click that “view more” bar at the bottom and you will see another eight appear….and you can carry on going until there are no more articles left. That’s a bit like Facebook these days.

Instead of searching by keywords, you can also browse by topic by clicking the link next to the search button, and select a topic from the list that appears. When you are finished selecting click ‘close’ in the bottom right hand corner of that list.

To reset your search so that the page returns to the way it was when you came to the site, just click ‘reset’ (underneath the banner on the right hand side).

If you want to view an article, just click on it.

When looking at an article you can print it, tweet it, make the font bigger or smaller, comment (you will need to be logged into your Facebook account).

When you are finished reading and/or commenting you can do another search or return to your previous search results by clicking on your browsers ‘back’ button.

I’ll be uploading a video soon to provide more guidance, but for now I hope this brief introduction helps you enjoy the site.

Don’t forget to go to our page on Facebook – where you can like us :-) and join in discussion, upload and view images and movies, and post things that are on your mind. By liking us on Facebook you’ll be able to be kept informed of all the latest goings on from justice.net.nz and beyond.

About us

This site is run by the Social Justice Commission of the Anglican Church.

We seek to nurture justice spirituality and imagination, and engage in advocacy in all areas of life, overcoming poverty and transforming violence.

We encourage people to think and live “justly”, and emphasise debate and action on local, national and global issues.

Although we are Anglican, our vision isn’t so much about being Anglican. It’s about living justly. Justice is about how you live your life, and being just where we are. Working together, we can all flourish.
