A change as good as a rest?

Looking at the polls over the last few months, it seems that New Zealanders feel it’s time for a bit of a change of government, a shake up, something fresh. Problem is, we don’t really have much of an idea as yet what a change to a National government might entail since very little actual policy has been released, and what has been released isn’t thrilling. The public’s patience is starting to wear thin, with mounting pressure on National to show its hand. A change can be as good as a rest. But a knee jerk reaction against the status quo to secure any change at any cost is pretty risky…Stuff: Calls for National to show its hand – http://www.stuff.co.nz/4624923a11.html

About us

This site is run by the Social Justice Commission of the Anglican Church.

We seek to nurture justice spirituality and imagination, and engage in advocacy in all areas of life, overcoming poverty and transforming violence.

We encourage people to think and live “justly”, and emphasise debate and action on local, national and global issues.

Although we are Anglican, our vision isn’t so much about being Anglican. It’s about living justly. Justice is about how you live your life, and being just where we are. Working together, we can all flourish.
