Climate Change and Migration Conference

By Jolyon / 5 June 2009

On the 9th and 10th of July a conference is being held in Wellington on Climate Change and Migration issues in the South Pacific. for further information or to register contact the Institute for Policy studies at Victoria University. ips@vuw.ac.nz or 04 463 5307. There is no charge for registering.

This will be an important conference as it wrestles with one of the issues of adapting to what is coming (and already happening in some corners of Tikanga Pacifica) rather than mitigation.

About us

This site is run by the Social Justice Commission of the Anglican Church.

We seek to nurture justice spirituality and imagination, and engage in advocacy in all areas of life, overcoming poverty and transforming violence.

We encourage people to think and live “justly”, and emphasise debate and action on local, national and global issues.

Although we are Anglican, our vision isn’t so much about being Anglican. It’s about living justly. Justice is about how you live your life, and being just where we are. Working together, we can all flourish.
