Green Party home insulation deal

By Jolyon / 4 June 2009

This is a great article, but it turns out it was a deal with the national party rather than the devil so not quite as shocking a story as it would otherwise have been.

Home insulation: Green Party’s deal with the devil

from www.tvnz.co.nz

“It’s a big week for the Greens. Today has seen the announcement of the home insulation package they secured from National as part of their Memorandum of Understanding … Given that the Greens have won $323m to help insulate 180,000 homes, $244m of which is new money, it’s a winning day for the minor party.”

About us

This site is run by the Social Justice Commission of the Anglican Church.

We seek to nurture justice spirituality and imagination, and engage in advocacy in all areas of life, overcoming poverty and transforming violence.

We encourage people to think and live “justly”, and emphasise debate and action on local, national and global issues.

Although we are Anglican, our vision isn’t so much about being Anglican. It’s about living justly. Justice is about how you live your life, and being just where we are. Working together, we can all flourish.
