Palestine is vanishing

By / 11 June 2006

They say a picture speaks a thousand words. Well, thanks to the folks at www.palestine.org.nz that can be said as being very true indeed in relation the loss of land which the Palestinians have endured since 1946. See for yourself…

This is a situation you can’t afford to be ignorant of. Visit sabeel.org and get informed about some of the issues. Or visit here for a history of Palestine. Or visit journalist John Pilger’s website - a man with a great deal of experience about the region and the struggles, and a great deal to say about the situation (including a very useful timeline, here).

And why not visit the excellent zmag.org – and have a look at some articles?

About us

This site is run by the Social Justice Commission of the Anglican Church.

We seek to nurture justice spirituality and imagination, and engage in advocacy in all areas of life, overcoming poverty and transforming violence.

We encourage people to think and live “justly”, and emphasise debate and action on local, national and global issues.

Although we are Anglican, our vision isn’t so much about being Anglican. It’s about living justly. Justice is about how you live your life, and being just where we are. Working together, we can all flourish.
