Biofuel demand caused food crisis
By | Jul 5, 2008
According to a secret internal report, leaked from the World Bank (http://www.worldbank.org), biofuels have forced global food prices up by 75% - which is far more than previous estimates indicated.
This figure is in contradiction to the US government’s claims that biofuels contribute less that 3% yo food price rises.
