Didn’t choose words well?
By Ant | Aug 5, 2008

No, I’d say Bill English certainly didn’t. More importantly, he got taped not choosing his words well. I guess it’s all a matter of putting “I” “Care” “Don’t” and “sell off KiwiBank” in the right order.
“With respect to Kiwibank, I shouldn’t have made the comments I made. National has had no discussions about Kiwibank and has no plans to sell it,” he said.
That doesn’t mean they won’t have plans once they have had discussions. Avoiding having discussions, as the church knows well, means one doesn’t have to make a decision nor declare a position!
The NZ Herald have some coverage.
