New research databases launched
By Pauline Bellam | Nov 22, 2007
Anyone for free education? The National Library of New Zealand has launched KRIS (Kiwi Research Information Service) http://nzresearch.org.nz/, a New Zealand research database. This is to be a gateway to the open-access research documents produced at universities, polytechnics, and other research institutions throughout New Zealand. The site is still under development, but already has significant content.A promising site for Community and Voluntary Sector Research recently launched will offer free access to research, promote a code of practice for researchers, connect people to research, allow groups to find researchers, and has the potential for email lists, virtual conferences, and a ‘how-to’ section. The site is now live and ready for accessing and contributing research material, visit http://www.communityresearch.org.nz/.
