Everyone seems to be having a go at China, even down to comments on whch little girl actually sang the song at the opening ceremony. We don’t get this sort of detail when a Hollywood actor uses a stand in. When the president makes a speech talking about the people of the world being like one family, and supporting the sporting ideals of the Olympic movement, it seems to me we are making progress. Let’s support the positive and remember the failings of our own legal system and the capital punishment stil used by so many other nations, and keep things in proportion.. How many have read the stories about cloud seeding and planning where rain is to fall? These people have many problems but they are working on them. Jim Hunt.
