Scenes like the one below, make this film worth checking out.
But don’t bother going if you are looking for a ‘believable’ story with terribly ‘believable’ characters (although as the film makes clear about itself, the trouble with TV is that everything becomes believable, and if everything is believable, then ultimately nothing is. That’s a point that many critics have chosen to ignore, in favour of laying into the ‘believability’ of the story.
I believe that the biblical prophet and the comedian are not that far apart; both see things differently and confront the world with a new reality. This film does that, and if you can cope with some fairly unusual things going on in the story line, is worth going to see.
