I love the joyfilled picture of Jesus laughing!!
Why wouldn't Jesus be happy and full of laughter, He is the one who paid the full price to be one with us. He chose us over His own life.
I imagine that while He was on the cross HE saw all of us and the joy over came the pain.
I want to see more paintings and pictures of Jesus in His true nature.
We are truly blessed!

I think it 's like a breath of fresh to see JESUS being showing an emotion other than sadness or pain.I truly believe this is an equally revelant way to reveal the One and Only being to ever truly save the world! Let's not forget ,He's not in that tomb any more! {SEE:JOHN:3:16 if doubt arises},GOD ROCKS, amen!

I reckon this picture is great. Fairly basic as art goes I guess but never the less it's fantastic. There are some other line drawings i've seen of Jesus with children - in them Jesus looks a bit anglo-saxon but again they convey a sense of life! I am not sure where they originated but you can find one of them here: http://www.vbc4me.org/jesus_child.jpg

Sometimes it must be hard to know whether to laugh or to cry when Jesus sees the stupid things we get up to. For myself I tell people the bishops who used to disapprove of me are all dead now, but I hope they can see all sides of things from where they are now and have a good laugh. Jim Hunt. .

I have had a copy of this picture on my study wall for a couple of years now. I am training for the ministry and whenever I'm tempted to start thinking that I know all the answers a quick glance at this picture puts me back on the path!
